Newhaven & Seaford Sailing Club is holding it's first Midsummer Festival of the Sea on Saturday the 20th of June at the Club HQ on Seaford Seafront to celebrate the many sides of seafaring.

This new event is planned to be a real fun family day featuring Gig racing, stalls, RNLI demonstrations, on the water taster sessions a possible Red Arrows fly by, depending on the weather.

Event Schedule:

10am - Event Opening by James McCleary MP

10- 4pm - Stalls on the Promenade

All Day - Beach Clean

10am - Exhibition Gig Race

11am - Exhibition Sailing Rac?

12.30pm - Mermaid Sea Swim

12-4pm - On the Water Taster Sessions

2pm - Exhibition Gig Race

2.30pm - Gong Workshop

3pm - RNLI Demonstaration

4pm - Sea Shanty Singers

5pm - Prize Giving

5.30pm - Ewan Hamilton Band

7-9.30pm - Jamie Lynch Band
