Nominations are now open for the 2025-2026 Seaford Mayor’s Awards that will be presented at the Annual Town Meeting on Thursday the 30th of April. Each year, these awards shine a light on residents and organisations whose contributions often go unrecognised. 

In addition to the Mayor’s Awards, nominations are invited for the Don Mabey Award, which honours an individual who has gone above and beyond with their services to the town and its residents.

Councillor Maggie Wearmouth, Mayor of Seaford for 2025–2026, said: “One of the joys of being the Mayor of Seaford is finding out what residents are doing for the community, often unsung, just for the joy of sharing and contributing. Residents are invited to nominate organisations or individuals they feel have contributed to the community of Seaford, or excelled in their activities beyond Seaford.”

If you know someone who deserves recognition, send your nomination to civic@seafordtowncouncil.gov.uk clearly outlining why you believe they should receive an award.

The closing date for nominations is Friday the 6th of March 2026.
