Haven News visitor Derek Cox wrote to remind us that Newhaven Swing Bridge is 50-years old tomorrow, the 7th of November.

Derek was one of the original maintenance crew back then and he sent us a link to a You Tube post of the swing bridge opening ceremony on the 7th of November 1974.

Not the best quality,and no sound, but well worth a look.
