Peacehaven Community School has raised £1,296.54 for the RNLI following a presentation from Newhaven RNLI’s Water Safety Team. In the weeks following the presentation, the school reinforced the RNLI's water safety messages during lessons.

Peacehaven Community School students and staff were asked to vote for which local charity they’d like to fundraise for over the last academic year and Newhaven RNLI came out on top. Students organised a series of events and fundraising opportunities such as bake sales, non-uniform days, bucket shaking, a second-hand book sale and an Easter Egg hunt for local primary schools, to raise money.
