The Friends of Tide Mills held one of its most heartening meetings to date on Sunday. 20 of our members, in perfect weather, managed to collect just one bag of rubbish with just a few recyclable items as well.

Tide Mills is as close to being litter free that I can remember. This is a major milestone and down to not just our group efforts, but all others, both organised groups and individuals as well. We thank you all.

Of course this state of affairs is very fragile and like elsewhere will still require regular visits going forward.

If you would like to help us keep Tide Mills the very special and peaceful space that it is, we would love to welcome you to one of our meetings, which are always held on the third Sunday of the Month, the next being the 16th June, between 9.00am and 11.00am
