In what could be called challenging, breezy, conditions, eight members of the Friends of Tide Mills held their January meeting yesterday.

We managed just three bags of assorted rubbish this time, along with one bag of recyclables and a few heavier bulky items which, considering the gales of late, is reasonably heartening.

Hopefully at our next meeting, on the 18th of February, we will see some early signs of spring as the many plants start to emerge. Also at this meeting we will be holding our late winter/early spring picnic.

Our meetings are always on the third Sunday of the month.
