SEAFORD CHRISTMAS TREE BLESSING

The Revd. Paul Owen of St Leonard’s Church will be blessing the Seaford Christmas tree situated at Seaford War Memorial in Sutton Road tomorrow - Friday the 30th, at 4.00pm.


The blessing theme will be ‘Christ, the light of the World’ and the event will be attended by the Mayor of Seaford, Linda Wallraven, the Deputy Mayor of Seaford, Lindsay Freeman, the Young Mayor, Dom Avey, Deputy Young Mayor, James Jenkins and Cradle Hill School Choir.

Following the tree blessing, the judging of the Annual Christmas Best Dressed Shop Window Competition will take place. The Seaford Chamber of Commerce President, Paul Franklin, the Deputy Mayor of Seaford, Lindsay Freeman, the Young Mayor, Dom Avey and Deputy Young Mayor, James Jenkins will walk through the town centre and judge the shop window displays from 5.00pm.

Winners will be announced at Seaford Christmas Magic on Saturday the 1st of December. The overall winner will be presented with a glass trophy and two runners-up will be presented with highly commended certificates.
