ST. GEORGE HELPS FIGHT CANCER

October 28th, 2019.

Laurie Holland, the Branch President of the Seahaven Branch of The Royal Society of St George, attended the Polegate offices of the Children with Cancer Charity last week to present the founder chairman, Chris Downton and charity fund raiser Zoe King with a box of 1000 business cards.

The cards will be used to help publicise the charity and its vitally important work. It helps Children with Cancer and their families in East Sussex, and to meet the cost of this work, funds need to be raised.

The Charity has received some awards, chief amongst them being the Queen's Award for Voluntary Service.

Accompanied by branch chairman, Bob Peedle MBE, President Holland was much impressed with the enthusiasm and dedication of the volunteers who run this vital charitable service.
