SEAFORD STAR GAZING TRAIL

December 3rd, 2020.

Seaford Town Council is working with Seaford Contemporary Illustrators and Printmakers (SCIP) to create the Seaford Star Gazing Trail.

The Seaford Star Gazing Trail is an inclusive, family fun activity helping to encourage residents to shop local in Seaford this Christmas. You are invited to explore Seaford town and hunt for a collection of stars designed by local illustrators and artists. The artists involved in creating the designs are Graham Carter, Sam Chivers, Jane Robbins, Patrick Edgeley, Sally Elford, Emma West, Gallit Shaltiel, Cecile Garcia, Josie Jo, Sally Mae Joseph, Zoe Jackson and Sarah Long.

There are many ways to get involved, including a competition to design your own star, and making your own lantern or a stained-glass star to decorate your own homes this festive season. Prizes include prints or books, and you can send photos of your entries to hello@wearescip.co.uk

There is also an opportunity to take these unique stars home if you’re lucky enough to place the winning bid in a fundraising auction which will be running from the 14th of December to raise funds which will enable the SCIP team to run free art workshops for children next year.
