SEAFORD MUSEUM AND HERITAGE SOCIETY

January 20th, 2022.

Seaford Museum is located in the Seaford Martello Tower leased from Seaford Town Council for a pepper-corn rent. It is run entirely by volunteers. The Museum is open on Saturdays and Sundays from 11am to 4pm and on Wednesday afternoons from March.

The museum archive team are available on the first Sunday of every month 1.00pm to 4.00pm, or by appointment, to help with public enquiries on local history, properties etc.

The Society has around 400 members who receive four magazines a year, have free access to the museum, invitations to talks, walks and other events organised by the Trustees.

The Museum is always in need of volunteers to help keep it running smoothly and improve the visitor experience. Volunteers can offer just a couple of hours a month, or more to suit!

Stewards are also needed to welcome and assist the public. People with skills to build and maintain the displays [electricians, carpenters, DIY experts!]; cleaners for dusting, tidying and hoovering and helpers to keep the volunteers happy with refreshments plus catering for occasional events are also needed.

If you can help in any way, contact Society Trustee Penny Lower for a chat and more information on 01323 898925 or by email at info@seafordmuseum.co.uk
