Seaford Rotary has reluctantly taken the decision to not invite Santa to visit the streets of Seaford this December so that the community of Seaford can remain COVID safe.

This decision, taken after much initial planning, is a consequence of the government restrictions to be imposed after the 2nd of December, and has been not been taken without due consideration.

For over 60 years Seaford Rotary has been accompanying Santa on his sleigh around the streets of Seaford on December evenings. This is the first time that Seaford Rotary has not been able to let the children of Seaford see Santa in the weeks before Christmas. The plan is to invite Santa back in 2021.

Many people have been very generous in supporting Seaford Rotary as Santa visited the streets of Seaford each December, and those who still wish to contribute by making a Christmas donation to Seaford Rotary can visit the Just Giving page at www.justgiving.com/campaign/seafordsleigh  All contributions will be gratefully received, no matter how small.
