ELECTRIC VEHICLE CHARGE POINT SURVEY

October 16th, 2018.

East Sussex district and borough councils (Wealden, Hastings, Eastbourne, Lewes and Rother) are seeking views on the development of electric vehicle infrastructure (charge points) in the area.

Views are being sought from current electric vehicle drivers (pure electric vehicles and plug-in hybrids), people considering purchasing an electric vehicle in the future, and those who know that they would not wish to switch to an electric vehicle (to help understand the reasons why). This will help to assess demand now as well as likely demand in the near future and help decide on the type and location of any potential future infrastructure.

As part of the survey, the councils would also like to know where you think charge point infrastructure is needed in East Sussex. This will not guarantee any installations but will inform work on potential site selection and could help with any future funding bids.

Wealden District Council is undertaking this survey on behalf of East Sussex district and borough councils and the data you provide will be shared amongst these authorities.

The Survey will take between 5 and 10 minutes to complete.
