NEWHAVEN VET CHARITY SHOP NEEDS CLOTHING DONATIONS

November 7th, 2017.

Staff and volunteers at Newhaven PDSA shop are urging local people to clear out their wardrobes and donate any unwanted clothes to help raise funds to care for sick and injured pets.

Ladies, men’s and children’s clothes are all urgently needed, including tops, coats, jackets and jumpers, as well as shoes, hats and belts.

Donations can be taken to the store in Newhaven Square from Monday to Saturday, between 9.00am and 5.00pm.

PDSA shop manager, Kelly explains: “As well as de-cluttering your home, and making more room for new purchases, you will be helping a very worthy cause at the same time. All the money raised in the shop helps PDSA treat the sick and injured pets of local people in need.”

Located at 12 Newhaven Square, Newhaven PDSA shop raises funds to provide PDSA-funded veterinary treatment in the local area.

PDSA encourages all supporters to sign up for Gift Aid, to help their donations go even further. Gift Aid allows PDSA to claim an additional 25 percent of the value of each item sold, which helps raise over £1m a year for the charity.
