A business in Seaford has been shortlisted for a prestigious award for its charitable work over the past 12 months.

The Estate Agent Content Club has made it to the final five entries in the Agents Giving 2021 awards.

The awards recognise charitable and community efforts from businesses working in the property industry.

The firm, which provides marketing services to estate agents, has a charitable arm called The Karma Club which has donated more than £15,000 to local, national, and international good causes since it launched in September 2019.

It is owned by Jerry Lyons and Wendy Reed. Jerry said: “We’re honoured to be shortlisted and it came totally out of the blue. We believe that business can and should be used to create a positive change.

“We would like to thank our clients and our team because without them we wouldn’t be in a position to give back.”

The Karma Club has supported local good causes including working with Burt’s Bakery to deliver hampers to care homes in Seaford during the first lockdown. As well as providing boxing equipment for South Coast ABC, computer equipment for local schools, and financial support to the Haven’s Community Hub.

Nationally, it has supported more than 100 different projects including hospices, cancer charities, and community causes.

The results will be announced at an awards evening hosted by TV celebrity Phil Spencer in Epsom on Friday the 24th of September.
