The Newhaven Communication mast on The Highway has begun emitting a high pitch whistle and whine whenever there is a wind above 10 mph.

The company Acquiva has been asked to fix the problem, which is believed to be caused by equipment the company recently installed on the mast.

Residents are being asked to complain to the Council and to keep a log of the conditions and time when the noise is a problem.
