HOUSING SURGERIES IN SEAFORD AND PEACEHAVEN TO OPEN SOON

October 23rd, 2017.

Lewes District Council has confirmed that it will reopen housing surgeries in Peacehaven and Seaford from November the 6th. The surgeries will give residents quick and easy access to expert advice from a member of the council’s housing team
.

If anyone is having problems with their current housing or needs help finding somewhere to live, they can visit the Police building in Seaford on Wednesday and Friday mornings and the Meridian Centre in Peacehaven on Monday mornings. On arrival, people will be shown how to make an appointment with a housing officer.

These community housing services are in addition to the drop-in surgeries in Lewes at Southover House on Tuesday mornings and in Newhaven at Saxon House on Thursday mornings.

Councillor Ron Maskell, Cabinet Portfolio Holder for Housing, said: “I'm delighted that this valuable local resource will be accessible again very soon.

“It’s really important that people can get specialist help and advice where and when they need it most.”
