A Havens Community Hub charity quiz night at the EBM Centre in Peacehaven raised over £300.

The quiz night featured a competition among seven participating teams. The 'Cornish Pasties' emerged as the winners, followed closely by the 'Blue Whales'. The evening demonstrated strong community spirit and generosity, with attendees enjoying food and beverages provided by Paul Margo of 3Degree Catering & Events.

Proceeds from the event will be utilised to support Havens Community Hub's various initiatives, including:

· Havens Happy Clubs: Offering activities and companionship for older individuals with complex needs, including dementia.

· Havens Food Cooperative: Preventing up to 3 tonnes of food from going to landfill each week and redistributing it to those in need.

· Havens Community Cars is a volunteer driver scheme that assists individuals who lack access to transportation or cannot use public transport.

Paula Woolven, CEO and Founder of Havens Community Hub, expressed her gratitude to all attendees and supporters of the event.:"The funds raised will greatly support our projects and enable us to continue our mission of aiding those in need.
