The Friends of Tide Mills enjoyed their September meeting in glorious Autumnal sunshine last weekend. Sixteen of us managed a very satisfying result in that only one bag of rubbish was collected this time.

There is no doubt that we are seeing a slow but steady decrease in rubbish now, which for everybody who trully appreciates this vital open space and helps keep it cared for is very heartening indeed. We do appreciate the fact that, in addition to ourselves, there are many others who help in any small way they can, together with other local community groups. We thank you all.

Our next meeting is Sunday the16th October; always the third Sunday of each month, from 9.00am to 11.00am.
