The Friends of Tide Mills held their July meeting yesterday. 16 of us collected just two bag of rubbish and two bags of recyclables this time, which considering we are now well into the Summer season, is reasonable, given the undoubted increasing numbers of visitors.

As always there is a minority of visitors who discard their rubbish instead of taking it home or deposit it in one of the rubbish bins available to them.

Our next meeting is the 18th of August, always the third Sunday of the month. If you are interested in helping keep this precious local open space cared for we would be delighted to welcome you to our merry little band.
