The Newhaven Fish Festival returns to Huggets Green on the West Quay this Saturday, the 4th of September, from 10.00am through to 3.00pm.

The opening parade will meet in the college car park at Denton Island Community Centre at 10.00am with a view to setting off at 10:30am. The parade will march through the town to the sound of Earthquake drummers and aim to arrive at Huggets Green at approximately 11.00am.

Entry to the Festival is free for all. There will be live music, market stalls, food and fun activities for the whole family.

Children from Newhaven, Denton and South Heighton have been taking part in art workshops with Carol Havard of Art Techniques in preparation for the parade. These workshops have been funded by Rampion and the festival had been sponsored by Veolia.
