The ever-popular East Dean Market, held every Wednesday in and around the village hall at East Dean, is emerging from the recent Covid restrictions with a few refinements and new opening hours.

The list of 40 outlets now includes two cheese stalls, fish, bread, fruit, veg and plants, woodworkers, clothing, tye-dye, foods, crafts, artisan and more.

Opening hours have been extended to 10.00am through to 2.00pm. The cafe has reopened under new management, and is open from 9.30am through to 2.00pm with a range of cakes, scones, toasted sandwiches, tea cakes, bagels, plus hot and cold drinks.

There is free parking available, and the market is just a short walk from the bus stops on the main A259 in East Dean.
