CO-OP SUPPORT FOR CTLA

November 14th, 2017.

CTLA Community Transport, the last remaining accessible transport charity covering the Lewes District, has been chosen as one of the charities to be supported by the Co-op Community Fund for 2018.

Every time members shop at the Co-op, 1% of what they spend on selected own-brand products and services goes to the Co-op Local Community Fund and they can choose CTLA Community Transport to receive this donation by going to: www.coop.co.uk/membership

Paul Homewood, general manager of CTLA Community Transport explained: "We are delighted to have the support of our local Co-op store. Delivering over 70,000 passenger journeys per year in the Havens and Lewes District is only achievable with the community goodwill we receive.

"Our volunteers and staff are always willing to go the extra mile for vulnerable and isolated beneficiaries.

"CTLA gives our service users Wheels to the World."

Last week CTLA was visited by the High Sheriff of East Sussex, Mrs Maureen Chowen, and she was amazed and impressed by the wide-reaching range of services offered by the Community Transport charity.
