CELEBRATE THE 125th ANNIVERSARY OF THE FOUNDATION OF THE ROYAL SOCIETY OF ST GEORGE

January 30th, 2019.

Plans are in hand for the Seahaven Branch of The Royal Society of St George (1894) to celebrate the 125th Anniversary of its foundation with a formal banquet.

The banquet will take place on Saturday the 27th of July at 7.00pm for 7.30pm at the Masonic Centre in Peacehaven; 16 Seaview Road, BN10 8PX.

Costs and details of menu choices will be circulated in due course. Incidental music and entertainment will accompany the three-course formal dinner.

The Seahaven Branch, which covers the district of Lewes, with surrounding towns and villages, was formed in 2010 and will be commemorating its tenth St George’s Day on the 23rd of April, with a church service and formal dinner in Alfriston. Although not a fundraising organisation, The Royal Society of St George utilises its surplus money by making gifts to worthwhile local causes and charities. The latest was this January to the Dame Vera Lynn Children’s Charity.
