FIND TIGGER

On Thursday I took my cat Tigger to Portside Vets in Newhaven for his last check up following an operation to remove his left eye 2 weeks ago.

On leaving the surgery Tigger escaped from his cat carrier around 12:30 on Thursday near the entrance of the Newhaven multi storey car park in the centre of the town. He ran off very fast through the ground floor of the car park towards the ring road. Despite 3 days of searching with friends we have not found Tigger. Tigger lives in Seaford so he is in a place he does not know so has no chance of getting home on his own. He is 4 year old and very friendly and loves the sleeping in the sunshine. I have been out looking, both areas within the ring road and beyond. I have placed posts on Facebook and I am putting out posters around Newhaven today. I attach a copy of a poster my daughter made yesterday.

The residents in Newhaven have been fantastic in trying to help find Tigger. Most people I have spoken to while searching have heard about Tigger. I will be putting out posters today while searching for him. I am so grateful to everyone in the town. It would be good if Seahavenfm can help publicise finding Tigger safe and sound and that so many people in Newhaven are trying to find him on my behalf. I can’t begin to say how bad I feel about this situation. My daughter is getting married this Saturday. It would be good to know he is safe and well before we travel to Leeds later in the week. We will all be heartbroken if he does not come home safely.
